Providers must meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum # of hrs of employment in a licensed or registered early childhood program.

University of Missouri Kansas City Scholarships
Pallas K. Cockefair Scholarship: Established to assist full time students in Teacher Education program.
Hazel Browne Williams Scholarship: A scholarship for minority education students established in honor of Hazel, the first black professor at University of Missouri Kansas City and the School of Education.

UMKC School of Education Alumni Association Board Scholarship: Established through the diligence of the school’s Alumni Association awarded to a deserving graduate in the School of Education.

Early Childhood Associate Apprenticeship Program
The Early Childhood Associate Apprenticeship Program (ECAAP) is open to all interested child care centers in Butler County Community College, Emporia State University, Highland Community College, Hutchison Community College, Johnson County Community College and Kansas City Community College service areas.
